1.Place your sling with the folded seam face up.
2. Open the tail of the sling and gather in your hand.
3. Pull the gathered tail evenly through both rings and back through one ring.
4. Pull the sling over your head and place on your right shoulder. The rings should be in front of your shoulder, and the seam behind your shoulder. Keep the sling on your upper arm and shoulder, not on your neck.
5. Always keep your sling above your waist. To tighten the top portion of the sling, pull on the corresponding top part of the tail. To tighten the bottom, pull on the corresponding bottom part of the tail. To loosen your sling, pull up on the bottom ring, and pull on the pouch part of the sling that needs to be loosened.
FRONT POSITION: Hold your baby over your left shoulder with your left hand while you reach under the sling to support your baby with your right hand. Open your sling and tuck the bottom of the sling around your baby to the back of his/her knees. Pull tightly on the tail while still supporting your baby. Alter your sling till it fits snuggly around your baby. Your baby should be sitting in the sling with the sling securely holding his/her bottom up to the back of his/her knees.

Newborns enjoy this position with his/her head above your chest and legs folded completely inside the sling. The top of the sling to his/her head. Pull excess fabric through the rings to have a snug fit.

A NEWBORN DOES NEED YOUR HAND TO SECURELY SUPPORT HIS/HER HEAD.

SLING CARE: Nadine Slings are made of 100% woven cotton unless otherwise noted. Wash your sling before wearing. Your sling may be machine or hand washed with cold water and tumble dryed on low or hung to dry. (Cover the rings with socks when machine drying to minimize the noise they make in the dryer.)
