HIP POSITION: The hip position becomes more convenient as your baby grows. This position starts just like the front position; except you slide your baby into the sling and on your left hip instead of keeping your baby in front of you.

If your baby is leaning, pull the top part of the sling through the rings to bring his/her back closer towards you.

If your baby is not sitting, pull the bottom part of the sling through the rings to bring his/her knees up to a sitting position.
FORWARD FACING POSITION: Hold your baby face forward with his/her legs crossed. Slide your baby into the sling while still supporting him/her. The sling should be between you and your baby and the front of the sling should reach up to the top of his/her chest.

Pull the top and bottom part of the sling through the rings to have a snug fit around your baby's chest. Keep the middle part of the sling slightly looser, to give your baby a little more leg room.
CRADLE/NURSING POSITION: Slide your baby into the sling just like the front position. Then gently turn your baby to a reclined position by guiding his/her legs together to one side and his/her head to the other side. The sling should hold your baby up both sides of your baby like a hammock. Adjust your sling so that your baby's head is well supported. Never cover your baby's face or allow them to sleep with their head facing the sling.

A Newborns' head needs to be above your chest facing up, with arms close to their body. Pull the sling to fit around their body like a hammock. Then pull all the excess fabric through the rings.

To nurse, recline your baby to a nursing position, lean forward, attatch your baby, then straighten back up. Nursing your baby depends on what is most comfortable for you. You may choose to keep your arm in the sling as you nurse, or hold your baby from the outside of the sling. Your baby may enjoy the snugness of the sling while nursing, or might need to stretch out a little. Your sling is extremely versatile. Once you begin to nurse you will enjoy the extra fabric available to do so discreetly.
